I'm the owner and operator of Kindred Acres.  I'm a veteran single mom to an amazing little girl, Kaliah.  Growing up my parents always had gardens, both edible and decorative.  When I grew older I took a big interest in plants, herbs, nature, and holistic health.  I started a small home garden which grew very quickly.

 My theory is simple...."Plants are life".  I have a passion for native plants, pollinator plants, decorative gardening, and nature.  I also have a keen an eye for plant identification and know a great deal about all things plants.  I am passionate about scientific names when it comes to plants.    

I have grown up in nature.  I have been afforded the opportunity to travel to many states around the USA to visit various intentional communities and tribes.  I love to be out in nature and in the garden.  My passion for science and nature has been very strong since I was very little.
