One of our followers, Michelle, wanted to share with us how she set up her mealworm system. She is new to raising mealworms and has done a lot of research, trial, and error and has a setup that works for her so she wanted to share that with us!
Raising mealworms has many benefits. The Darkling beetles give you frass which is an excellent fertilizer for the garden or additive to your compost tea. The beetles are also a good addition to a compost heap because they help break it down faster. Mealworms can be offered as a treat to your flock of feathered friends. Instead of buying them and shipping them, you can grow them yourself.
There is no cost for this class and there will be a live Q&A session at the end. Have your paper and pens ready!
