It's that time of year again! Time for another Burning Bowl!! Come join us in December 10th 2022 at 6:00pm in the Sacred Circle!
End your week with this amazing meditation and ceremony! Prepare yourself for the new year to come!
*Children are welcome if you feel your child can remain respectfully quiet and calm as there will be meditation and fire involved as well as sensitive emotions.
This will be held outside assuming the weather cooperates so you will want to dress in flowing comfortable clothing. If you have a floor cushion, yoga mat, or folded blanket, or folding chair to sit on you may want to bring that as well. You will also be writing down your thoughts on paper to later burn for release...we will have paper and pens available but some people prefer to bring their own.
Tickets are $15 per person for this event. https://www.paypal.me/KindredAcres
Parking is limited so please RSVP and then message us to reserve your spot. We will provide the details and address.
*Burning Bowl is a ceremony done to help you let go of what no longer serves you. It helps you to release negative thoughts and ideas, baggage, and anything that you may have been carrying from the prior year that is no longer bringing you joy or fulfillment. It allows you to clear a pathway to change, to clear the chakras, to center, realign, and to ease the heart and mind to make way for new. It provides you the opportunity to set new intentions, to bring your desires and resolutions from the realm of thought to manifestation.
You do not need to have experience to join in the ceremony. You will be guided through the experience. It is traditional to release days or even weeks before the solstice. This allows you to let go... just in time to rebuild during the solstice. It's also great to step away from the hustle and bustle of this time of year to focus on yourself and to enjoy a powerful release.
Each Burning Bowl I have ever attended or held has been a completely different experience. Sometimes the release is very powerful, bringing up may emotions. Some of our guests have cried or even laugh uncontrollably, and some have just felt completely relaxed and at ease. The experience is different for each person but certainly an experience I recommend you try if you think you are interested!
** Maureen Hammond will be doing a 5-10 minute sound bath using singing bowls during the ceremony. If you’ve never experienced this, it’s truly awesome! Come join! Please feel free to bring drums and any other musical instrument as if the energy flows in the direction, we may have a drum circle following the ceremony. It's all in the hands of the energy flow.
You may also bring a light snack to share should you feel drawn to.
We hope to see you there!!

One of our followers, Michelle, wanted to share with us how she set up her mealworm system. She is new to raising mealworms and has done a lot of research, trial, and error and has a setup that works for her so she wanted to share that with us!
Raising mealworms has many benefits. The Darkling beetles give you frass which is an excellent fertilizer for the garden or additive to your compost tea. The beetles are also a good addition to a compost heap because they help break it down faster. Mealworms can be offered as a treat to your flock of feathered friends. Instead of buying them and shipping them, you can grow them yourself.
There is no cost for this class and there will be a live Q&A session at the end. Have your paper and pens ready!
